Professor Mayer spoke of using thinking and brainstorming skills, has us practice the same, spoke of using notebooks as thought-books or even dream journals, using journalling in classrooms, removing grading from creativity (instead using a submit/non-submit system) and looking at ourselves and characters from differing perspectives.
