Looking Forward ATOM QLD State Conference proudly presented by QUT Creative Industries

2017 marks a juncture in Media Arts, Film Television and New Media education history whereby educators have and are implementing the Media Arts strand aligned to the Australian Curriculum and the release of a brand new FTVnM Senior Syllabus as QLD transitions into the Senior Assessment Tertiary Entrance system (SATE).

Delegates can Look Forward to:

Keynotes with Industry guests: Julie Eckersley Producer at Matchbox Pictures and others TBC

Discussion Panel about the New QCE system and approaches to the New Syllabus with QCAA representatives and teachers
Panel with Victorian teachers discussing external assessment and exam preparation
Workshops focused on script writing, video editing, ACTF apps Little Lunch and My:24, Flipped Learning and many more
Presentations and workshops exploring content that is aligned to Australian Curriculum in a Primary and Junior Secondary context
This year we are excited to announce an evening event to celebrate and acknowledge Helen Yeates’ contribution to Media education and the Industry. This event will be a separate ticketed event and is NOT INCLUDED in the cost of your Conference registration. More details to come soon.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

For parking at QUT please see http://www.fmd.qut.edu.au/transport/casual_parking.jsp

Many parking options are approx. $8 /day with Brisbane City parking $8.40. Saturday parking is restricted due to the Saturday markets (however does offer something extra!)

What’s the refund policy?

For a FULL refund the request must be 14 business days before the event.

For 50% refund the request must be 7 business days before the event.

What’s the GST / ABN?

ATOM Qld Inc is not registered for GST, (we are a non-profit teaching association run by volunteers) however, for tax invoice purposes, our ABN is: 51 081 593 357
